Adventures in Art (AIA) brings fun, hands-on art experiences to kids and inspires them to explore their creativity. As an AIA volunteer docent, you’ll learn fun art projects at our workshops, then bring them to life with students on campus! No art experience needed—just a love of creativity and a willingness to share the fun.

Tentative dates that projects will be taught at Richardson (pending school approval, subject to change):

Tuesday - Friday the week following trainings, with Tuesday being our set up day. Ideally, each grade will be taught on one day (ex: 6th grade on Wed, 7th grade on Thurs, and 8th on Fri)

  • Project 1 - September 29- Oct. 2

  • Project 2 - November 17-20

  • Project 3 - January 26-29

  • Project 4 - March 9-12

  • Art Show - TBD (with Open House)

  • Project 5 - April 27-30
